The national statistics office CBS recently reported a growth of 2.5% for the Netherlands economy in 2018. They reported that the growth was mainly due to higher consumer spending and investments. Although the growth has slowed from the prior year (2017), it is reassuring to see that the Netherlands continues to be a stable country, despite factors affecting global economy such as Brexit negotiations and international trade disputes. Many global businesses choose the Netherlands as the location for their headquarters and it continues to be a wonderful place to live and work!
