Switzerland sustained its’ number one ranking in the Global Competitiveness Report 2017 – 2018 for the 6th consecutive year. The country’s resilient economy and strong labour markets, as well as the sophisticated and innovative businesses located there, are amongst the reasons for its’ success. Netherlands have also ranked in the top 10, in 4th place, ahead of countries such as Hong Kong, UK and Japan.
